Causes, Cares, and Charities: Writing and Reading Organizations

As a professional writer, I wholeheartedly support charities and organizations that promote reading and writing. I wanted to compile a list of great organizations to show that I care about the people working there as well as their missions. Please check out the websites, raise awareness, and — if you feel compelled — please donate to their causes. I cannot possibly list all of the worthy organizations out there, so please feel free to add your own contributions in the comments and do your own research.
