A Vase of Wildflowers

I'm a writer because I have stage fright.

The Horrific Family Fun that is Found at Vala’s Pumpkin Patch

Okay horror and suspense writers, here are some ideas for you.

Autumn is the time for the spooky and the scenic and I got a bit of both when I ventured into the mystical place that is Vala’s Pumpkin Patch. The tourist attraction reminded me of a mixture of Alice’s Adventures in WonderlandIt, and Escape from the Carnival of Horrors. To sum up my experience I would have to say it was fantastic.

Vala’s had many interesting installments. The most creepy attractions were the mazes, the storybook garden, and the haunted house.

Notice the creepy sheep on the roof…

There were also some sinister sale items…

…and eerie, fantastical beings like malicious witches and pumpkin eating dragons.

But at least the outdoor decorations were comforting.

Anyone who appreciates subtle horror needs to tour this place. Don’t forget to bring the kids!

Very creepy, indeed. Wouldn’t like to stumble across that tree at night 😉

It startled me in the daylight. It was one of the coolest, creepiest things I’ve come across. Plus all of the faux humans posing behind bars in the mazes was just odd.
